The latest episode of the Listen To The Signal podcast is up!
This story sprung out of a conversation I had with a friend. She mentioned going on vacation somewhere super hot, and said “It’s like one inch from the Sun.” And I immediately thought, “Oh my God, that’s the perfect title for a story.” I typically don’t start with the title, but I really like what fell out of my head. (Also, it’s not lost on me that while starting it last year, I coincidentally finished it exactly when fires are raging in California. I was going to postpone it, but then I thought, you know, this might be the right time to explore themes and questions like this? I don’t know.) Here it is…
